Botanicals

JUNIPER is the main botanical in gin. We use the best we can find. The juniper bush grows typically in sandy soil and stands beautiful throughout the winter.

FRESH APPLES provides a perfect balance of sweet and sour fruitiness. And what could be more Danish than apples?

We recommend using a slice of apple – fresh or dried – as a garnish for your Herbie Gin Export G&T.

CHAMOMILE  grows wild in Denmark and blooms in July – September. It has a characteristic yet mild aroma and adds a Nordic twist to our Herbie Gin Export.

CITRUS PEEL is the peel of the fruits like orange, lemon and lime. The peel has a lot of aromatic oils and can be used both in sweet and savory dishes. It is a classic and very popular ingredient in gin – and you can use citrus peel as a garnish in most G&Ts.
