JUNIPER is the main botanical in gin. We use the best we can find. The juniper bush grows typically in sandy soil and stands beautiful throughout the winter.
FRESH APPLES provides a perfect balance of sweet and sour fruitiness. And what could be more Danish than apples? Inspired by the Danish summer we chose apples as one of the dominating botanicals in Herbie Gin Pink.
RASPBERRY is a bright red berry that grows wild in Denmark. Both delicate and prominent in fragrance and taste – a perfekt choice for a pink summer gin. If you just can’t get enough, try to use fresh or frozen raspberries as a garnish to your Herbie Gin Pink G&T.
CRANBERRIES are low, creeping shrubs or vines up to 2 meters in height that grows wild in Denmark. The fruit is a berry that it is initially light green, turning red when ripe. We use it in Herbie Gin Pink because it adds a bitter, yet fruity note that works well with juniper.
